King Arthur Terraces - a collection of 24 townhouses in the $850m masterplanned community, Yeerongpilly Green

The King Arthur Terraces are nestled in Consolidated Properties Groups’ new masterplanned community village Yeerongpilly Green. A joint venture between Consolidated Properties Group, CVS Lane Capital Partners and Queensland Government, the AU$850M precinct with drive over 3,000 residents to Brisbane’s southeast.

Selling out in just a few short weeks, the Cottee Parker designed King Arthur Terraces are a collection of 24 north facing terrace homes.

The site is located on the Northern edge of the Yeerongpilly Green precinct, interfacing with the existing 2 and 3 storey residential houses and apartments on Ortive Street. This collection features 1, 2 and 3 level dwellings.

To breakdown the density of the site and ensure that each residence comfortably holds its own presence within the streetscape, the design uses a mixture of form, colour and materiality to distinguish each dwelling. Cottee Parker programmed the precinct to be ‘stepped’ in its form, with a series of identifiable breaks between each townhouse enabling each to be orientated to the north, and provide cross ventilation through the layered site.

Landscaped arbour entries and generous courtyard planting are a subtle transition between the streetscape and the site, providing residents with a green backdrop for their terraced living spaces. There is a seamless flow between the rear alfresco dining spaces and the open-plan living areas.
