Exuding the renowned quality of all Spicer’s Resorts, the bar, lounge and fine dining restaurant at Spicer’s Guesthouse offers culinary delights from a multi-hatted executive chef served within a relaxed and welcoming homely ambience for 130 guests and visitors.
The interior colour scheme is predominantly neutral, punctuated by deep ink tones and metallic accents. Layering of textural, tactile finishes celebrate and enhance the existing sandstone feature walls.
The project included a new building to house a 180m2 kitchen which is lcentred between the restaurant and the ballroom to service both equally.
Within this new building, a striking private dining room and a 1200 bottle temperature-controlled wine storage wall custom designed by Cottee Parker, showcases the region’s exceptional wines.
Working to utilise every available opportunity, the existing balconies adjacent to the restaurant were enclosed in full height glass, offering diners a chance to enjoy immersive views of the magnificent gardens.
