Perth Hub

Perth Hub

Located within the newly designated lifestyle precinct of Perth City Link, ‘Perth Hub’ is a mixed-use tourism and living destination, connecting two key components of Perth’s CBD and interfacing with the city’s major transport node.

We are no strangers to bringing luxury hotels to Australian shores, and our work in Perth is no exception. Following the delivery of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel and its neighbouring residential tower, our team set out to deliver ‘Perth Hub’ with developer Far East Consortium. The project brings a 32-storey mixed-use tower with 314 apartments to the precinct.

A defining project for a modern city

The development will comprise a diverse mix of residential, retail, entertainment and tourist accommodation land uses, which will be complemented by high-quality public spaces including Yagan Square, City Walk, Kings Square, Wellington Gardens and the Milligan Bridge Plaza. The building's direct neighbour is a 23-storey, 263-room, four-star Dorsett hotel, designed by us concurrently with Perth Hub. It generates a dialogue between themselves, the Perth Arena and the Milligan Steps through their scale, form, and similar but contrasting architectural languages and expressions.

The design delivers one of the most connected and exciting inner-city living projects in Perth, with unprecedented access to Perth’s primary public transport hubs. Connecting seamlessly to Perth Arena, the thriving bar and nightlife culture of the city, and various exclusive shopping and dining experiences, Perth Hub is a defining project for a modern city.

Our design plays a key role in reconnecting the CBD to Northbridge, removing the physical barriers between the two key locations of the city and creating new transportation and pedestrian linkages through the site. Core to the design intent, the mixed-use design has been curated to maximise the points of intersection with high volume pedestrian circulation generated by the surrounding transport and event infrastructure within the developments’ immediate precinct.

Ultimately, the hallmark of this project is its ability to enhance the pedestrian experience and create a high level of amenity and activation across a site that would have previously been considered transient.
