The design of the Heal Street House in New Farm involved renovating and extending an existing Queensland cottage to transform the property into a luxury 4-bedroom family home. The house now offers indoor and outdoor living spaces, with impressive views to Brisbane city.
Cottee Parker worked under the constraints of character compliance and a small lot code to retain the original feature of the existing house.
The property’s renovation added a contemporary style, featuring stained timber finishes to inject warmth into new areas of the house.
The design carefully considered the proximity of neighbouring properties for natural light and home privacy purposes, and successfully complied with Code Assessable solutions. The project was completed in 2013, expanding Cottee Parker’s portfolio and reputation for innovative house design.
