Situated in the vibrant James Street precinct, Citimark’s new office successfully balances a professional, design-led space for visitors as well as a homelike, warm sanctuary for staff. The compact 270sqm fitout includes an open-plan workspace with three private offices and utilities area, as well as a meeting room, boardroom and staff kitchen and breakout space. New amenities and end-of-trip facilities complete the fitout.
A unique feature of the space is the gallery wall, which acts as a welcome address to visitors as they walk up the stairs. The length of the wall, which runs from the waiting area across to the boardroom, is lit by suspended track lighting and showcases photography and render artwork of Citimark’s previous projects.
James Street is known for its iconic architecture and high-end, cosmopolitan retail and dining offerings. The interiors were designed to reference the established fabric of the precinct as a whole: white brick, glass, black steel and verdant planting. This connectivity between place and the interiors speaks to the importance of design and culture of James Street and, by extension, our client.
