Brisbane Catholic Education Head Office (BCE) at Yeerongpilly Green is a medium-scale commercial project located on a gateway site to the entry of the new Yeerongpilly green masterplan. The building is made up of 6,030m² NLA spread across 4 levels and features
2 basements, cross-block link and a community chapel.
To encourage connectivity throughout the project, the large atrium space within each floor plate has been specifically designed to foster collaboration. The building features city views from the upper levels, and the designs delivered by Cottee Parker Architects were thoughtfully capitalise on this in order to maximise the sweeping views throughout the project.
Cottee Parker Architects’ design also considered the sites acoustic issues while delivering designs that successfully address the risks of building on a flood plain. The thoughtful architectural design highlights the transparency of Brisbane Catholic Education and is humble in design while carefully using cost-effective materials throughout the project.
