Vida comprises 146 apartments within two, 12-storey luxury developments in Brisbane’s eclectic inner-city West End precinct.
The interior design vision for Vida is urban chic with a raw industrial edge. The foyer spaces of both towers feature dynamic industrial elements such as polished concrete floors and black metal feature pendant lights. Sleek stone counters are softened with accents of herringbone timber panels, textural wallpapers and timber slatted ceiling features.
The green spine between the two towers provides a sub-tropical plaza space with views to the Brisbane River, lending its self to both physical and visual connectivity from the street to the park. Sub-tropical design principals were applied to the form, including large floating roof lines, deep set balconies, projections and screens coupled with wrapped landscaping.
Vida’s design process was guided by the BBC and Urban Renewal Brisbane for South Brisbane Riverside, and the designs delivered by Cottee Parker carefully worked within constraints to bring the project’s vision to life.
