As one of the two founding Directors of Cottee Parker Architects, Rob is a highly-respected professional in the design and architecture industry. Establishing the practice in 1989, Rob has worked on a variety of projects across all scopes and sizes.
With extensive experience on mixed-use projects, Rob’s ability to understand each facet of a project ensures that his holistic design solutions enable each segment of a project to work seamlessly together. This experience has been instrumental in large-scale projects like Queen’s Wharf in Brisbane.
When working on large-scale projects, Rob prides himself on his ability to collaborate with all stakeholders. This collaborative approach allows him to take the time to understand the scope of the project, and to deliver tailored solutions that address any particular challenges or constraints.
With a fundamental passion for the built environment, Rob enjoys watching as the projects he works on go from designs to actualised buildings, and he passes this passion on to staff throughout Cottee Parker.
As a Director, Rob balances his passion for design with his ability to grow and scale a business. He has seen his role at Cottee Parker progress from purely design to a management-based role – where he has been instrumental in setting up the Perth and Melbourne offices and building a team full of passionate and talented individuals.
