With an association with Cottee Parker Architects that spans more than 20 years, Daniel Potts has an extensive background in creating luxury residential and multi-residential projects that carefully balance memorable architecture with commercial outcomes.
As such an experienced architect, Daniel has also worked on complex commercial and industrial projects. On all projects, his strong collaboration skills ensure he is an invaluable member of the project team – from inception right through to post-completion.
Daniel’s passion for design stems from his lateral approach to problem solving, and the satisfaction he gains from knowing he has provided the best solution to a complex problem. On all projects, he is consistently striving to create simple and elegant solutions to complex problems.
Aiming to create enduring architecture, Daniel works with his clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and to provide thoughtful designs that will stand the test of time. In all of his designs, he gives careful consideration to the end-user, and is inspired by the challenge of using new design strategies to create spaces that will be functional and user-friendly.
Daniel was an integral part of assisting Cottee Parker Architects’ expansion into Melbourne and Perth, where he has gained insight into how important it is to mentor and inspire younger staff in order to nurture their passion for design.
