EMPIRE SQUARE will be an iconic building on the Brisbane skyline. The design integrates commercial, hotel and apartment functions into a compact site. The flexibility of the floor plate design allows the different uses to be easily integrated into the design as the building rises.

The podium has been designed to be in accord with the adjoining historic family services building, while still keeping with the exciting design of the hotel. The tower facade forms a dynamic play of subtle curves and distinctive banding. The top of the building is a defining marker and is intended to be lit to provide an iconic attraction from Southbank and beyond.
