THIS $650 MILLION, 250 metre high project to come to life on the site known as the Red Cross building, will represent one of Brisbane's first new 5-star hotel projects in more than a decade.
The building features 29,000sqm of A-grade commercial office space, 168 hotel apartments and 109 premium residential apartments. The 5-star hotel accommodation component of the building comprises one and two bedroom apartments of up to 100sqm in living area. The residential apartments will offer living areas from 85sqm through to double storey sky-homes of up to 350sqm.
The building will feature futuristic designs and innovative technologies to handle the growing pressure that Brisbane faces. Water harvesting, evaporative and other energy efficient technologies will be employed to help conserve water and energy. The building will feature an iconic lantern on top making it Brisbane's tallest building, and will have a fifteen metre high glass pedestrian walkway linking the hotel and apartment spaces, as well as dual entrances on both Queen and Adelaide Streets.
