SEDGMAN, A MINING Engineering Company, was located over 4 levels within 2 buildings at Indooroopilly. It was identified that the organisation required to relocate to one integrated site at the end of their lease to improve internal business communications. The final site selected was a 3 level commercial building in Milton affording a 1,600sqm floor plate over one level, an additional 300 sqm on a contiguous lower level and at the same time providing their own foyer access at street level. The building’s central core arrangement also allowed for the Engineer and Consulting Groups to be co-located on the larger Eastern side of the floor plate on level 2, with the Projects and Administrative groups along with reception, meeting and central facilities located on the Western side of the floor plate.
