Upper West Side, Melbourne

Australia’s Largest New Multi-Residential Project is Underway

The Cottee Parker designed Upper West Side occupies almost half a city block at the western end of Melbourne’s CBD. With 4 apartment towers of 30 to 50 storeys, this high profile project fronting Lonsdale, Spencer and Little Bourke Streets is set to become a highly visible landmark.

The ground level interface is appropriate to Melbourne, activated with retail facilities and a stimulating combination of streets, lanes and arcades. Above, rich and dynamic facades express clear individual identities for each of the 4 towers while providing a strong coherence to the collective.

The towers address all of the streets with apartments, (a mix of studio to 2 bedroom layouts), with predominantly recessed terraces, some extending to further articulate the facades. Car parking has been contained to the inside of the podium and to two basement levels.

The podium rooftop includes over 4,000m2 of landscaped space and the project will be a minimum 4 Star Green Star development for owners Far East Consortium.
